Verdant Bread is a spirited small bakery specializing in naturally leavened breads and pastries utilizing fresh milled flours from millers local to NC.

We are open 9:30am to 3pm Tuesday through Friday at 4410-C Monroe Rd, and on Saturday mornings at the Uptown Farmers Market as well as the Matthews Community Farmers Market.
